Responsibilities: Oversees Biltmore Family of Companies including Biltmore Farms Commercial.

Professional Background: Joined the company in 1984, becoming president in 1992. Prior to joining the Biltmore Family of companies, Mr. Cecil was associated with Foremost-McKessson, Incorporated, with specific responsibilities for the company’s dairy operations in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

Community and Affiliations: Director TeraGlobal Communications Corporation; Vice Chairman University of North Carolina Board of Governors; Director Mission-St. Joseph’s Health System and Memorial Mission Hospital, Inc.; former Chairman of the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce; Director of The Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Education: B.A. Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Masters in International Management from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona.

Professional Background: More than 20 years of experience in property management including The Limited Stores, Inc., the Simon Group, and The DeBartolo Corporation.

Community and Affiliations: Member Eblen Foundation Board; Mountain Area Hospice Foundation Board. Buncombe County Schools Foundation Board for five years. Leadership Asheville.

Education: Asheville Buncombe Community College and Montreat College.

Vice President Hospitality

Responsibilities: Management of hospitality portfolio; development of hospitality-related projects.
Professional Background: Over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Previously oversaw assets exceeding $100 million for Red Roof Inns; opened 70 properties in two years. Also associated with One Newark Associates, directing several Sheraton properties.

Education: BA Finance – University of Miami. Attended the Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Motel Administration. Certified Hotel Administrator.

Missy Thompson Jenkins
Property Manager

Responsibilities: Overall responsibilities for management of retail and office property. Responsible for financial management, building operations and administration and customer/client satisfaction for 100 Technology Drive, Volvo Construction Equipment N.A. and One Vanderbilt Park South Condominium Association.

Professional Background: Office and Financial Manager for two area country clubs for eight years.

Education: BA Business Administration - Montreat College. AS Business Administration - Blue Ridge Community College. Licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker.
